Clivia red/dark orange green throat seedling, 4" in tall. Only one available. See the last picture, which is the one you will get. The mother plant came from a clivia breeder in California. As with any breeding effort, the flower can vary and give you a surprise.

This easy to care, beautiful clivia can be a great gift for family and friends, and yourself. It is elegant but also tough, drought tolerant, and can grow in any type of well-drained soil. As a house plant, it's easier to grow than an orchid; it is shade tolerant--early morning or afternoon sun is enough. Even when not in flower, the leafy clumps are an attractive pot of pleasing green.

Clivia plants can go for several weeks without water; in fact, they need a dry, cold period to initiate flowering. It can be left undisturbed for many years. You can grow them beautifully for 4-5 years without ever disturbing the roots by repotting.
