Monk Clivia Chinese compact orange rare three fresh seeds per package

The Monk Clivias were developed in China with broad leaves, and are particularly valued for the quality of their leaves. The picture shows what the bloom that produced the seeds. There are three fresh seeds per package. This compact form makes it easily fit onto the window sill.

This easy to care, beautiful clivia can be a great gift for family and friends, and yourself. It is elegant but also tough, drought tolerant, and can grow in any type of well-drained soil. As a house plant, it's easier to grow than an orchid; it is shade tolerant--early morning or afternoon sun is enough. Even when not in flower, the leafy clumps are an attractive pot of pleasing green.

Clivia plants can go for several weeks without water; in fact, they need a dry, cold period to initiate flowering. It can be left undisturbed for many years. You can grow them beautifully for 4-5 years without ever disturbing the roots by repotting.
